SCORŪ Project Workshop

SESSION OBJECTIVE
There are two primary objectives for this course. The first is to develop participant knowledge and skill using a disciplined approach to implementing SCORŪ in their company. The second is to increase each participant’s overall depth of understanding of the SCORŪ Framework.  This course can be adapted into your corporate training regime!

APPROACH
The course will follow the project discipline as outlined in the book Supply Chain Excellence: A Handbook for Dramatic Improvement Using the SCORŪ Model. Participants will use the integrated SCORŪ project workflow tool, ProcessWizard, to work through the six phases of an actual SCORŪ project for their company, including Building Organizational Support, Discovering the Opportunity, Analyzing Basis of Competition, Design Material Flow, Design Work and Information Flow, and Planning for Implementation.

WHAT MAKES THIS TRAINING EVENT UNIQUE?
Blending 60+ SCORŪ projects worth of experience and a hands-on instructional design, this course will provide
• instruction on how to use real project deliverables,
• demonstrations using the Fowlers case study in the book,
• hands-on exercises focusing on your company supply chains using ProcessWizard,
• group discussion that relate the exercise to next steps for your company
