MARCH 2007 - Balancing Your Value Chain Metrics

SEPTEMBER 2006 - SCOR Level 4 Processes
JUNE 2006 - Effective Supply Chain Strategy (and assessment worksheet)

There is one sure thing in every project; everyone at some time or another will emphasize the unique nature of the business and dispute any attempt of comparison to others.  This page is a compiled list of benchmark resources that helped build effective comparisons regardless of industry.  Remember benchmarks don't set goals, you do!

A Benchmark Brief is an industry comparison of key internal and shareholder metrics using publicly available SEC 10K and/or 10Q reports and a preliminary SCORcard.

The page link contains a short list of web resources that I use for research, facts, and supply chain trends.

The page link is an archive of helpful articles and white papers. Also, beginning in June, I will be publishing my own column archived in the SCE Thought Leadership section.  Why re-create the wheel?

This page link contains downloadable presentations that I have used in the past to help people understand two questions: What is SCOR? and How do I use SCOR to benefit my company?

The materials included on the page link will support each phase of a Supply Chain Excellence Project including Presentation material, Templates for deliverables, appropriate and Reference material.  The materials are updated quarterly based on project repetitions and adaptations.

This new page provides thought leadership on the concept of Value Chain.  From Porter to VCOR to The Supply Chain Council's Customer and Design Chain models to Balanced Scorecard, this page will look at how to integrate these concepts into a practical implementation approach that I will call Value Chain Excellence.  Enjoy!
